How do I use the Track Delivery feature in cPanel?
Introduction
With the cPanel function "Track Delivery" users can track their incoming and outgoing messages. The simple interface and filtering options allow customers to easily find messages and see if they were sent, received, or if any of these processes failed for any reason. In this tutorial we will explain this feature, walk you through the available options and show you how to use them to solve email problems!
Let's start
The first thing you need to do is log in to your cPanel account. If you are not sure how to do that, please follow our tutorial about the Access to the cPanel service.
Once you are logged in, go to eMail and select "Track Delivery" here. You can also use the search box above and enter "Track Delivery" to filter all the features and find what you are looking for!

Please click on the "Track Delivery" icon to be redirected to the appropriate page.
Using the Track Delivery function
Once you are on the page, you will see a text field at the top and some buttons on the right. Below that is a table with the sent and received emails.
If you want to see the results only for a specific recipient or sender, you can use the eMail account in the text field and click the "Run Report" button. The "Show All" button clears the text box and automatically displays all results, while the "Show Blocked and Failed Messages" button clears the text box and displays only the blocked and failed messages.
Above the table section there are four check boxes. At least one must always be checked for the section to contain all records - the others can be checked or unchecked depending on the type of emails you are looking for.

Let's take a look at all the columns and explain their meaning.
Event: This column contains the result of the message - Received, Rejected, Deferred or In Progress.
Return address: This column displays the email account from which the email was sent.
Airtime: This column displays the exact time and date when the email was sent.
Spam Score: If you have enabled the spam filters, this column contains the spam score of the incoming messages.
Recipient: This column displays the address of the recipient to whom the delivery attempt was made.
Result: This column shows the result of the action (send or receive). If the result is something other than "Accepted", the exact problem is also listed here.
Actions: This column always contains an exclamation mark icon which, when clicked, opens a pop-up window displaying the above information as well as other details about the status of the email. The information that is useful for you is listed below:
User: This line displays the username from which the email originated. If you are the sender, this is your cPanel username.
Sender Host: This line displays the host name of the server from which the e-mail was sent.
Sender IP: This line displays the IP address of the server that sent the email.
ID: This line displays the ID of the message. This can be useful when you check the Exim log.
Delivery Host: This line displays the host name of the server that received the email.
Station Host: This line displays the IP address of the server that received the email.

This is pretty much all the information about the Track Delivery feature in cPanel. As you can see, the feature is quite simple but contains important information that you can use to your advantage to identify undeliverable or delivered emails.
As always we have a experienced team, which can help you with problems with the email service. If you have a problem with your emails that you can't solve with this feature, please contact our support team via the ticket system in your Customer area.
